Peg Roberts, MA, LMFT


Peg 
is Founder, President, and Clinical Director of Spirit of Hope Counseling Center.  She is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist, an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and provides clinical supervision for new therapists working on licensure as an LMFT or LPCC, as well as Spirit of Hope therapists. She has been in private practice for 15 years.  She has recently finished writing a book titled Reclaiming a Lost Soul: Codependency Revealed and Recovered written for therapists to treat codependency and will be available soon.  

Specialties:  Codependency, couples and family the
rapy, trauma, abuse and addiction recovery. Certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) to help individuals with anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), abuse or trauma, car accidents, and other issues.  She is also certified in Stress and Trauma Care for Military Personnel and has a passion to work with military men and women and their families.

Vision: Peg believes we all have the right answer for our situation within us and she loves to help people find their own truth and their own direction. She believes it's critical to have a safe, comforting place in which to work through emotional or psychological issues.

Maureen Vogt, MA, LPCC


Maureen is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She has been passionately helping others for over 15 years.

Specialties: Anxiety (Generalized Anxiety, OCD, Panic, PTSD, Phobias, Hoarding), depression (clinical, suicidal ideation), support for families in crisis, low self-esteem, eating disorders, interpersonal relationships, unwanted same-sex attraction, trauma, abuse, personality challenges and adoption issues. Trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing).

Vision: Maureen believes change is possible for every individual who is courageous and honest with themselves. She offers compassion and empathy for all her clients.

Mary Einarson, MA, LPCC, LMFT

Mary is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Specialties: Couples and individuals with a variety of issues, adults who have Asperger Syndrome and their families, trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), offers groups for wives who are married to men with Aspergers, couples with Aspergers, and groups for those with codependency.

Vision: Mary believes each person is a unique and a valuable reflection of the image of God. Her approach involves accepting people exactly where they are and helping them get to the level of mental, emotional, and spiritual health they desire.

Melody Richards, MA, LPCC

Melody is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.

Specialties: Marital/relational issues, grief and loss, life transitions, depression, and trauma. She is trained in a marital counseling model that integrates Biblical truth with proven therapeutic tools and also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

Vision: Melody’s desire is to help people feel understood and supported, while empowering them toward more effective patterns of thinking, feeling, and interacting. Her style involves an integration of warmth and compassion with an emphasis on personal responsibility and follow through.

Christina Hill, MA, LAMFT


Christina is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. 

Specialties: Helping adolescents and young women, engaged and newly married couples, as well as seniors seeking help with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, transition, trauma and abuse, marriage struggles, and those seeking spiritual growth. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing).

Vision: Christina’s goal is to provide a compassionate and holistic approach in the opportunities she has to work with individuals, couples and families.

Kert Stalnaker, MA

Kert completed his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is currently working toward his Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology.

Specialties: All individuals, couples and families and has a relaxed, open-minded approach to counseling. His special interests include human sexuality, relational issues, men’s issues, anger management, and sexual addiction.

Vision: Kert's goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment in which change and growth can occur. He employs a wide range of therapeutic techniques and is very flexible with his therapeutic style.

Kippie Palesch, MA, LPC

Kippie is a Licensed Psychological Practitioner.  

Specialties:  Individuals, couples and families who suffer from depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parent/child conflict, life transitions, loved ones with mental illness or addiction, blended families, abuse and trauma as well as adolescents and children. She is certified and trained in crisis and suicide intervention as well as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). 

Vision: She's passionate about helping others and respectful of life’s twists and turns, and Kippie believes that through our adversity lies the potential for personal growth. Her warm, creative approach provides an environment where client’s feel safe and cared for while processing difficult issues.

Mike Roberts, MBA
Business and Financial Coach/Consultant

Specialties:  Mike brings 35 years of business experience, working with hundreds of clients where he developed his coaching expertise.  He has been trained by The World Coach Institute and offers coaching for personal finances, small and medium company business development, and life coaching.  

Vision:  Unique to Mike's practice is a combination of coaching and consulting for each client he works with.  He understands that each client is unique and requires a customized approach for their needs.  By asking the right questions (discovery) and providing the right tools, Mike is able to partner and colloborate with the client to achieve each desired goal.

Amy Kim, Psychotherapy Intern
 
                          

Amy is currently completing her Master's Degree and is working towards licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.  Amy is also working towards a certification in Holistic Nutrition Counseling. 

Specialties:  Individuals who suffer from anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and difficulty in interpersonal relationships.  Amy has a passion for working with military families who face issues with military life, daily living, PTSD, and more.  She is certified in Stress and Trauma Care for Military Personnel as well as in PREPARE/Enrich Premarital Assessment. 

Vision:  Amy's purpose in counseling is to love and serve others with care, compassion and empathy. She believes in a holistic approach that treats the whole person - mind, body and soul.

David Creek, Psychotherapy Intern

David is currently completing his Master's degree and working towards licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy. 

Specialties: Helping adolescents, engaged and married couples, as well as families seeking help with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, transition, and those seeking spiritual growth. 

Vision: David believes that there is hope for all the situations life can bring. He believes it is vital for every person to have a secure place where truth and wholeness can be sought after.

Megan Young, Office Manager

Megan is the first person you will meet and a very important person who keeps Spirit of Hope organized. She will be glad to get you scheduled for your appointments.  Just call 952.546.5565.

Megan graduated from the University of Minnesota – Duluth with her bachelor’s degree in Criminology and a minor in Sociology.  

Vision: She brings her passion for helping others and organizational skills to Spirit of Hope to better serve our clients and their needs.  Megan has experience and a great understanding of the counseling world, and has high expectations to make Spirit of Hope a welcoming experience.  Her calm spirit gives clients a warm welcome as they come into our Center.   Megan@SpiritofHopeCC.com
